Submissions Close THIS FRIDAY! What are We Looking For?

Music on The Move is BACK this fall with our second 2024 showcase! Mark your calendars for October 22nd at 3rd and Lindsley and get ready to rock out with us!

As always, the October showcase will be backed by the amazing house band, The HellCats. The all female band features Cara McCarthy on bass, Lauren Horbal on Drums, and Meg Williams on guitar. Do you want to play alongside the HellCats at the October 22nd showcase? Submissions to be a member of the line up are open now and will close on July 12th. 

We are looking for female and female identifying artists of every genre in the Nashville area to come and play with us for the evening. We are looking for artists who have experience playing with a live band, have a unique sound, and are confident playing in front of a sold out crowd. While having a lot of followers is important, we love to see strong social media engagement more than anything! We also love to see videos of your live performances so we can determine if your vibe will be right for this particular showcase. We pick four artists who make sense together. Not necessarily by genre but by vibe, just like your favorite playlist!

We are beyond excited to review every submission that we receive for the upcoming showcase. With only four spots to fill for the lineup, every submission will be listened to and read with clarity and fairness so we pick the best artist for this very competitive selection process. No matter what, we always appreciate your participation and encourage all eligible candidates to continue submitting their works for future showcases.
