The Blog is Back & so are We!
We are officially re-launching our Music on The Move Studios blog! Where did it go, you ask? Nowhere, really. We just had some very unfortunate and annoying technical issues that would not allow us to keep it regularly updated. Now that the problem has been solved, we are so excited to re-launch our blog with regular updates about the people in our Music on The Move community, news about the showcases, and even some new guest articles!
So, what is new?
I’m so glad you asked! (You didn’t but I’m going to tell you anyway.) Showcase submissions are officially OPEN and we cannot wait to listen to all of the new and insanely talented artists that are already starting to apply. Submissions will close Monday, February 17th at 6 PM.
Speaking of The HellCats, We are also launching a brand new workshop for our music education studio! Students current and past have the opportunity to perform with The HellCats live at a performance workshop this July! We are still working out details so, stay tuned for more updates!
Tell us more about these new guest articles!
OK! One of the reasons we started the blog was to create more opportunities for our artists & community to be featured. One way we can do that, is let them tell their own stories and talk about the Music Industry in a way that only they can! For example, our long-time friend Kristen Ford is writing an article for us about DIY touring in your 20’s vs. 30’s. Former intern, Anabel Rossi, is writing an article about being in the “real-world” for the first time after graduating. These pieces are meant to educate and relate. Have something you want to learn more about? Let us know!
We’re so excited to be back and running in to the New Year starting with our showcase on April 2nd at 3rd & Lindsley. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements to come!
