New Music Friday: Meg Williams & Noelle McFarland

Friday is here, and we’re gonna celebrate with two great new songs from our Music on the Move alums, Meg Williams and Noelle McFarland. If you need to channel some badass energy, put on the New Music Friday playlist and turn these up to eleven!

Start off your weekend by jamming out to Meg Williams’s latest single, ‘Blowin’ Smoke’! We’ve all known people who are notorious, manipulative liars, who exaggerate the truth and think they’re slick, but no one calls them out on it. In ‘Blowin’ Smoke’, Meg flips the script, calls out the bs and lets it roll like water off a duck’s back. Between its gritty, bluesy tune, and Meg’s smoky vocals and sick riffs, this single rocks hard! Hell yea, HellCat!

Similarly, Noelle McFarland’s single, ‘Under It’ shuts down a former lover trying to manipulate their way back into a relationship. Taking her power back, Noelle runs through all the ways she’s better off now without this person; putting her foot down, emphasizing, “when are you gonna get this? / my time and energy’s precious”. Noelle’s signature funky sound comes through, infusing this cheeky anthem with fun! I dare you to try to listen without dancing along! If you caught her set at our most recent showcase, then you already know dancing is inevitable!
