What’s New at Music on the Move Studios

We pride ourselves on being a women lead company that branches out into the many elements and aspects of the music industry, and with that comes lots of new info and behind the scenes action to share with our MOTM community!

For starters, we’ve launched a new blog series all about How to Get Involved In Your Local Music Scene! This series is filled with tips and tricks on how to network, perform, and find great new music in your community. Whether you’re a budding musician trying to get into the scene, an established professional looking to expand your circle, or a local music appreciator hoping to hear some new tunes, there’s something for everyone in this series!

Speaking of new tunes, Erin McLendon (our beloved co-founder and vocal instructor), just released the video for her single, “Sunday Crowd”! Tea is spilled and praises are sung loud and proud (Hallelujah!) in this upbeat take on small town, Sunday living.

You can find Erin’s song and many other sweet jams on our “New Music Friday” playlist, now available on Spotify! We’re thrilled to share this awesome new playlist filled with many of our favorite artists from the MOTM community! From adrenaline inducing tracks like Lauren Anderson’s ‘Burn It All Down’ and Lord Goldie’s ‘Andale’, to smoother, softer grooves like ‘Little More’ by Chelcie Jette, whatever your mood – we’ve got you covered! Tune in, turn it up, and let us know who you think we should add next! We may even feature them on our podcast…

Paradox Jukebox will begin airing new minisodes this November! Developed by Caitie Thompson (MOTM’s other beloved co-founder and multi-instrument instructor), Paradox Jukebox is our unconventional podcast that spearheads conversations with emerging artists and industry professionals, keeping you up-to-date on the latest releases and ever-changing elements of the music industry. If you haven’t already, subscribe to the podcast and listen back to some of our Greatest Hits in the meantime!

Among the many things we do and offer here at Music on the Move Studios, we also provide virtual music lessons! Whether you’re a beginner that’s just starting out or a seasoned professional wanting to perfect your technique, we can help you reach your goals. Erin and Caitie are available to instruct a variety of customized lessons, from voice to guitar, drums to songwriting, and beyond!
