Introducing: Radeckal Revolution

Hello, hello, Music on the Move friends!

Some of you may remember me as MOTM's former Head of Content Creation and Executive Assistant. For new friends, I'm Kate Radecke! Currently, I'm the Founding Mother of Radeckal Revolution Entertainment Studios, a musical matrix centered on community, philanthropy, and artistic development, specifically highlighting female creatives in the process.

Right now, we're known best for our all female-fronted philanthropic tribute shows.  Our first ever show, Riot! for Reproductive Rights--A Paramore Tribute, raised $1,250 for the TN-ACLU in April of 2024. Our most recent show, Sisters of the Moon: A Stevie Nicks Tribute, was generously sponsored by Tito's Vodka and we raised almost $2,500 for Wags & Walks-Nashville and the Nashville Humane Association.

As our reach has grown over our first year, my desire to highlight all the tremendous female/female identifying talent we have in Nashville has grown even bigger! I'm so excited to share that next week I'll be announcing the line up to our first all female-fronted original rock show, featuring all local female-fronted rock acts. While sexism is ever present in all areas of the music industry, the rock community is notoriously predominately male focused. As a pop-rock artist myself, I'm lucky enough to share the community with an astounding amount of mind-blowing, badass female-fronted rock acts in town! Especially after hosting our tribute shows, watching so many of these women blow the roof off each venue, I knew I wanted to play a part in providing a space for their voices to reach even further. My favorite part of running Radeckal Revolution and organizing each show is the reward of bringing people from all backgrounds together and further facilitating the musical community in Nashville.

Frankly, it's the thing I loved most about my time with Music on the Move! While we operate a little differently, MOTM and Radeckal Revolution share similar missions and goals, to expand our community and uplift female/female identifying artists. This is what I love best about MOTM and all our fellow female/female identifying friends--we know there's always space for each other, and we are stronger and better artists when we work together. Someone will always have something special of their own to contribute to the community!

On top of producing female-fronted charity shows and original bills, I also offer my services to artists needing help with booking shows, release or content strategy planning, social media assistance, and curating their bios, EPKs, and press releases!

It brings me so much joy to give back to the local music community through my work with Radeckal Revolution Entertainment Studios! Truly, being able to serve the community--specifically my fellow female/female identifying creatives, by providing the stage, support, and safe space to express themselves authentically is one of the greatest gifts this life has given me thus far. I can't thank anyone enough who's been to a show, donated to any of the causes that I care so passionately about, performed or donated their time and equipment, and to every one of you that's made it to the end of this article! Without you, I would not have a space to fill my cup!

If you want to participate in a future show, want help planning your next release or booking a show, or have a great cause or band you think I should know about, DM me on IG: @radeckalrevolution or shoot me an email at radeckalrevolution@gmail.com

Huge thanks to Erin for taking a chance on me in 2022, and for being such a great friend and supporter ever since! If I can do half of what she's done for the local musical community and female creatives in Nashville, I'll be so happy!
